# Cookie Policy

Effective from: 26 October 2026.

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (your browser's local storage and session storage) that Milore Tekstil Gıda ve Toptan Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Roicool") uses on roicool.com (the "Site"). Details of the personal data processed through them are in our [KVKK Privacy Notice](https://www.roicool.com/en/kvkk-privacy-notice). The Turkish text prevails.

## 1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a site. Local storage and session storage keep information in your browser in a similar way. Those created on the Site's own domain are first-party; those belonging to another company's service are third-party.

## 2. No non-essential cookie runs without your permission

When you first open the Site, a window asks for your cookie choices. There are three groups:

- **Necessary:** needed for the Site to work and stay secure; cannot be switched off.
- **Analytics:** helps us measure how the Site is used (Google Analytics). Off by default.
- **Marketing:** for measuring and personalising our ads (Google Ads, Meta). Off by default.

"Reject" and "Accept" carry equal weight, and you can also choose group by group. Google Consent Mode v2 keeps every measurement and advertising signal "denied" until you allow it. The tag manager loads in every case: in Consent Mode's advanced mode, until you allow them, Google's tags may send count-only signals (for example that a page view happened) without setting cookies or identifiers. Your choice is kept for 180 days; then we ask again. You can change it at any time through **"Cookie settings"** at the foot of every page. When you withdraw analytics or marketing permission, the related cookies are deleted from your browser.

Analytics and marketing cookies are based on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)); the scope of that consent is in our [Explicit Consent](https://www.roicool.com/en/explicit-consent) text. Necessary cookies rest on our legitimate interest in providing and securing the Site (Art. 5(2)(f)).

## 3. The cookies and similar technologies we use

Authorised people who use the admin panel also get session and preview cookies; these are never set for visitors.

Measurement and advertising tags are managed through a server-side Google Tag Manager (t.roicool.com). When you submit a form and have given marketing permission, only a SHA-256 hash of your e-mail and phone is passed to Google Ads and Meta as a conversion; your raw details are not.

## 4. Visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom

For visitors in the EU we apply the same approach under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)), and for visitors in the UK under PECR: information is stored on or read from your device only when it is strictly necessary for the Site, or with your prior, freely given, specific and informed consent. Consent is given only by a clear choice of yours, never by a pre-ticked box, by scrolling or by continuing to use the Site; refusing is as easy as accepting, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. ## 5. Browser settings

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the Site (for example remembering your cookie choice) may not work.

- Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security
- Safari: Settings › Privacy
- Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions

To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, you can use Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

## 6. Your rights and changes

You can use your KVKK Art. 11 rights about data processed through cookies with our [data-subject request form](https://www.roicool.com/en/data-subject-request-form).
