# CRM migration

CRM migration is moving contact, company, deal and activity records, the relationships between them, and business processes from one CRM, or from spreadsheets, to a new CRM. Roicool runs the move through an inventory, a field-by-field mapping table, data cleanup, a test import and a validated final import, then rebuilds automations and integrations in the new system.

## FAQ

### How long does a CRM migration take?

It depends on the number of records, objects and integrations. Simple migrations can be done in a few weeks; migrations with many custom fields, automations and integrations take longer.

### Will we lose data in the migration?

We prevent data loss with a mapping table, a test import, and record-count and sample-record checks. A full backup of the old system is taken before the migration.

### Are automations migrated too?

Automations, reports and integrations don't move with the data; they are rebuilt in the new system. That is a chance to simplify old rules.

### Which CRMs do you migrate between?

From Excel and spreadsheets to a CRM, and between HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Bitrix24, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Pipedrive.

### Can the sales team keep working during the migration?

Yes. We set a freeze date and run the final import in a short window, so the team moves to the new system with minimal disruption.
