What does the check measure?
The check asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity a set of questions buyers in your category ask, and looks for your brand in every answer.
- Mentions. How often your brand appears in the answers.
- Competitors. The brands recommended in your place.
- Score. From 0 to 100: mention frequency, position in the answer and tone, weighted per engine.
- Recommendations. Three actions to raise your visibility.
How to read the result
Start with the score, but not on its own. It runs from 0 to 100 and combines how often you're mentioned, your position in the answer and the tone of the mention, weighted per engine. The same score can come from a brand that is strong on one engine and weak on another.
Then look at the competitor list. The brands recommended in your place show who AI treats as the reference in your category. Seeing which pages and sites put them forward is the fastest way to find your first fix.
Finally, put the three recommendations in order. If one is about content and one about technical readability, fix the technical one first: content can't rescue a page the crawlers can't read.
Method
You enter your domain and e-mail on Ossvy's page. Ossvy runs a set of questions buyers in your category ask on each engine, and the report arrives in under a minute.
We don't rebuild this check here: the measurement already exists in Ossvy, which our team built. This page sends you there and explains how to read the result.
Limits
A single check is a snapshot. AI answers can change for the same question depending on the user, location and time; the result is not a guarantee.
The free check runs one set of questions, so it doesn't represent your whole category. To see the trend, repeat the measurement over time. If the result is poor, first check that your site is technically readable with the AI readiness analysis.
