In short

What is Analytics? The answer in one paragraph.

Roicool's analytics consulting starts with a measurement plan and covers GA4 and Google Tag Manager, server-side tagging, cookie consent and Consent Mode, data flows to ad platforms and the CRM, a BigQuery data warehouse and Looker Studio reports, so that ad and sales decisions rest on one correct dataset.

Your dashboards are full of numbers. Which ones do you trust?

Five problems we solve.

  • Numbers don't match

    Ads, GA4 and CRM disagree.

  • Conversion data missing

    Consent and blockers weaken signals.

  • Sales don't connect

You can't see which campaign sells.

  • Compliance unclear

Is Consent Mode set up right?

  • Reports take days

Data is joined by hand monthly.

One conversion, from the site to the report.

In server-side tracking the event starts on the site; Google Tag Manager adds the consent state, server-side GTM removes the duplicate and forwards it to GA4, Google Ads and the Meta Conversions API, and the result lands in the Looker Studio report. Tools we use for this: Looker Studio, Google Ads, Meta CAPI, Clarity, Semrush, Zoho CRM, Photoshop.

Royal Hair: how did we split a $60,000 budget between two different jobs?

At Royal Hair, Google Ads captures demand that already exists while a multi-stage Meta funnel carries cold audiences toward a booking. A $60,000 monthly budget is balanced between those two jobs, and CAPI keeps conversion data clean at every stage. The published results: 14x average ROI, an 8% conversion rate and an $11 lead cost, which can vary seasonally.

What is analytics consulting?

Analytics consulting is the work of setting up and running the measurement layer that collects marketing and sales data correctly, brings it together in one place and turns it into reports you can decide on. The result is that "which channel brings sales?" is answered with consistent data, not a guess.

Why does accurate tracking matter?

Ad algorithms learn from the conversion data you send them; missing or wrong data means budget flowing to the wrong campaigns. Cookie consent, ad blockers and browser limits weaken the signal, and different platforms show different numbers for the same period. A measurement layer closes those gaps and creates one source of truth.

How is a measurement plan built?

Measurement starts with a plan, not a tag. The steps:

  1. Goals and metrics: We set the outcome the business is judged by: sales, qualified leads, appointments.
  2. Event and conversion definitions: Every important action gets one written definition.
  3. Naming rules: Event, parameter and campaign names stay the same on every platform.
  4. Setup and testing: We install the tags and test every conversion end to end.
  5. Validation: We explain and close the gaps between GA4, the ad platforms and the CRM.

The basics: What is GA4?, What is Consent Mode v2?, server-side vs client-side tracking.

Connecting sales data to your ads

A form fill is an interim metric; the real question is which campaign brings sales. We send the sales data from the CRM back to the ad platforms as offline conversions, and set up a server signal for Meta with the Conversions API. Algorithms then look for people who resemble your customers, not your form fills.

Reporting and the data warehouse

Downloading data from several platforms every month and joining it by hand costs time and creates errors. We bring the data together in a data warehouse (BigQuery export) and make sure everyone looks at the same number on Looker Studio dashboards. To choose the tools: GA4 vs Mixpanel, Looker Studio vs Power BI.

What happens in the first 90 days?

  1. Days 0–30: An audit of your current tracking, the measurement plan, the conversion definitions.
  2. Days 31–60: GA4, tag management, Consent Mode and server-side setup; end-to-end tests.
  3. Days 61–90: CRM and ad connections, the data warehouse and dashboards, validation and documentation.

How to choose an analytics consultant

  • Do they start with a plan? Are a measurement plan and definitions written before any tag goes in?
  • Do they know compliance? Are Consent Mode and privacy requirements part of the setup?
  • Do they connect to sales? Are the CRM and offline conversions in scope?
  • Do they document it? Do you get the setup documentation and naming rules?
  • Who owns the accounts? Do GA4, tag management and the data warehouse stay in your brand's name?

Problems we solve

The numbers don't match

Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and the CRM show different lead counts for the same period.

Conversion data is missing

Consent choices, ad blockers and browser limits weaken the signal; ad algorithms learn from less data.

Sales don't connect to ads

You know which campaign brings forms, not which one brings revenue.

Compliance is unclear

You are not sure cookie consent and Consent Mode are set up correctly.

Reports take days

Every month someone downloads data from several platforms and joins it by hand.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What does analytics consulting cover?

A measurement plan, GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup, conversion tracking, server-side tagging, cookie consent and Consent Mode, data flows to ad platforms, CRM integration, a data warehouse and reporting. We set the scope by your current setup and your business questions.

  2. Why don't my GA4 and CRM numbers match?

The usual causes: a conversion tied to the wrong event, the same form counted twice, missing data because of cookie consent, ad blockers, and leads that never reach the CRM or reach it twice. An audit finds the source of each gap.

  3. Do we have to move to server-side tagging?

No, but we recommend it when ad budgets are significant and lost conversion data affects decisions. Fix the current setup first: moving a broken setup to a server does not fix it.

  4. Are you responsible for privacy compliance?

We are responsible for the technical side: consent management, Consent Mode, data filtering. The legal assessment, privacy notice and cookie policy belong to your legal counsel; we work with them.

  5. Which tools do you work with?

GA4, Google Tag Manager (web and server), Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Firebase and common CRMs such as HubSpot, Zoho and Salesforce. We pick the tool for the need.

  6. How long does a project take?

A GA4 audit and fix can take a few weeks; projects with server-side tagging, CRM integration and a data warehouse take longer. We confirm the timeline after discovery.
