Bitrix24 is business software that brings a CRM and a team's everyday work tools into one platform. Your sales team's contacts and deals, project tasks, team chat, video calls, and the enquiries that arrive from your website, phone lines or messaging apps all live in the same place. This post explains what Bitrix24 does, how its plans look as of October 2026, and which companies it fits and which it doesn't.
What does Bitrix24 do?
Most CRMs are built for sales and marketing teams only. Internal messaging, task tracking and file sharing happen somewhere else. Bitrix24 bundles those tools together. In practice, a sales rep can create a task from a deal card and assign it to a colleague, the call with the customer shows up on the same record, and the team discusses the work without leaving the platform.
Bitrix24's own product pages group the platform into a few main areas:
- CRM: leads, deals, contacts and companies; sales pipelines; access permissions and roles.
- Contact centre: CRM forms, a website widget, live chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, telephony and email, all feeding into the CRM.
- Tasks and projects: Kanban and Gantt views, recurring tasks, project workspaces.
- Communication and collaboration: team chat, video calls, shared calendars, file storage.
- Other tools: modules such as a website builder, online payments, e-signature and analytics.
That breadth is Bitrix24's main strength and its most common stumbling block. Having everything in one place means fewer tools to pay for and connect. But if nobody decides during set-up which modules the team will actually use, people end up lost in menus they never needed.
How is Bitrix24 priced?
Bitrix24 cloud plans are not priced per user. Each plan has a flat price per organisation and includes a set number of users; when your headcount passes that number, you move up a plan. The table below summarises the figures on Bitrix24's pricing page as of October 2026. Prices are in US dollars, per organisation, per month; the annual column shows the monthly equivalent when billed yearly.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually (per month) | Users included | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | US$ 0 | US$ 0 | 1–2 | 5 GB |
| Basic | US$ 69 | US$ 49 | 5 | 24 GB |
| Standard | US$ 144 | US$ 99 | 50 | 100 GB |
| Professional | US$ 289 | US$ 199 | 100 | 1 TB |
| Enterprise | from US$ 579 | from US$ 399 | 250 and up | from 3 TB |
The pricing page also lists "Vibe+" versions of each plan with AI and custom-app features; Basic Vibe+, for example, is US$ 89 billed monthly or US$ 59 a month billed annually. The page says annual billing saves "up to 40%" and mentions a Vibe+ launch offer on 12-month subscriptions that runs until 10 December 2026. Offers and regional prices change, so check the page again before you buy.
The plans differ in more than seats. According to the pricing page, Basic allows 5 sales pipelines, Standard 10, Professional 20 and Enterprise an unlimited number. The free plan is limited to one pipeline, two Marketplace apps and a 7-day backup period. Email, WhatsApp and telephony integration, sales pipelines and recurring deals start on the Basic plan.
What does the free plan cover?
As of October 2026 the free plan is built for 1–2 users: 5 GB of storage, basic CRM (deals and contacts), Kanban and Gantt tasks, shared calendars, chat and video calls. That is enough to get to know the platform and try a one-person sales process. It is not enough to run a sales team. If you want to trial it as a team, look at the trial options on the paid plans.
The on-premise edition
Besides the cloud, Bitrix24 offers an on-premise edition that runs on your own servers or private cloud. As of October 2026 Bitrix24's page lists US$ 3,590 for the Business edition and US$ 24,990 for the Enterprise edition (1,000+ users), and names full source code access among its features. This edition is for companies that need to keep data on their own infrastructure or customise the platform deeply. The trade-off: servers, maintenance, updates and security become your team's responsibility.
Who is Bitrix24 a good fit for?
Bitrix24 is not the right answer for every company. Here is the rough frame we use to speed the decision up.
It tends to fit when:
- You want task management, projects and internal messaging alongside the CRM, and you'd like fewer tools overall.
- Your headcount sits close to a plan's user limit and a flat price is easier to budget than per-seat pricing. For a 40-person team, for example, the Standard plan's flat price is worth comparing against per-seat tools.
- Customer enquiries come in through many channels (web forms, phone, WhatsApp, social media) and you want them all on one CRM record.
- You need to keep data on your own infrastructure and have an IT team to run it (on-premise).
It can struggle when:
- Your main need is marketing automation, content and email marketing. A platform that runs marketing and sales together may be the more natural choice; our post on HubSpot's free CRM shows how HubSpot approaches that side.
- Your team already lives in another collaboration suite (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, say) and won't leave it. Then most of Bitrix24's collaboration modules go unused and the platform feels crowded.
- You start with very few users and grow slowly. Below five people, a flat-price plan can cost more than a tool priced per seat.
What to watch during a Bitrix24 set-up
Bitrix24's scope rewards discipline. These are the problems we see most often in projects, and what we do to prevent them:
- Process first, modules second. Write down your pipeline stages, who gets a lead and when, and which fields are mandatory before you configure anything. That document decides which modules you switch on.
- Hide the modules you don't use. People should only see the menus that relate to their work. It has a direct effect on adoption.
- Connect channels one at a time, and test each one. Check with sample records that every enquiry from web forms, phone, WhatsApp and email lands in the right pipeline with the right person.
- Record the source. Keep the ad, page or channel each lead came from in a field. That is how you see which part of the marketing budget is working. The point is to measure which ads and pages bring enquiries, not to monitor people; set up privacy notices and consent where the law requires them (GDPR, or KVKK in Türkiye).
- Treat data migration as its own job. Moving from another CRM or from spreadsheets needs a field mapping, a clean-up and a test import before the final move.
Five questions to answer before you start a trial
Starting a Bitrix24 trial is easy; the real work is being able to make a decision at the end of it. Answer these with your team before you open the account:
- Which tools will we drop? Bitrix24's value is measured by what it replaces. Write down what you use today for tasks, team chat and meetings, and which of those you'd retire. If none, you are really only evaluating the CRM module.
- How many users, how many pipelines? Set today's headcount, the number in two years, and how many separate pipelines you need by product or customer type. Plan choice rests on those two numbers.
- Which channels do enquiries come from? List which of web forms, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram and email will feed the CRM, and roughly how many enquiries each brings in a month.
- Where will the data live? Cloud or your own servers? The answer changes both the cost and your IT team's workload.
- How will we judge success? Decide up front what you'll look at when the trial ends: for example, every enquiry landing in the CRM, the sales team running its weekly meeting from the CRM screen, and a manager seeing lead counts by source.
Those answers turn the trial from a feature tour into a real test.
Bitrix24, HubSpot or Zoho CRM?
All three often end up on the same shortlist for small and mid-sized companies, but they answer different questions.
| Question | Bitrix24 | HubSpot | Zoho CRM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Centre of the platform | CRM + team collaboration | Marketing, sales and service | Customisable CRM + Zoho apps |
| Pricing model (Oct 2026) | Flat price per organisation | Per seat | Per user |
| Free plan | 1–2 users | Up to 2 users | Up to 3 users |
| Self-hosting | Yes (on-premise) | No, cloud only | No, cloud only |
If Zoho is on your list, our Zoho CRM setup guide walks through the first weeks step by step.
The bottom line
Bitrix24 is a strong option for companies that want their CRM and their team's daily tools in one place, at a flat price. Because it covers so much, success depends on keeping the set-up simple: the projects that work decide early which modules are in use, which channel feeds which pipeline, and which data is mandatory.

Frequently asked questions
Is Bitrix24 free?
Bitrix24 has a free plan. As of October 2026 its pricing page describes it as completely free for 1–2 users, with 5 GB of storage, basic CRM (deals and contacts), tasks, shared calendars, chat and video calls. Sales automation, email and WhatsApp integration and similar features sit in the paid plans.
Is Bitrix24 priced per user?
No. Bitrix24 cloud plans have a flat price per organisation, and each plan includes a set number of users: as of October 2026, 5 on Basic, 50 on Standard and 100 on Professional, with Enterprise starting at 250. When your headcount passes the plan's limit, you move up a plan.
Can we host Bitrix24 on our own servers?
Yes. Alongside the cloud version there is Bitrix24 On-Premise, which runs on your own servers or private cloud. As of October 2026 Bitrix24's page lists US$ 3,590 for the Business edition and US$ 24,990 for the Enterprise edition. With on-premise, maintenance, updates and security are your team's job.
Can Bitrix24 replace HubSpot or Zoho CRM?
It depends on the goal. Bitrix24's strength is putting CRM, tasks, projects, chat and communication channels in one platform. If you need marketing automation at the centre, HubSpot may fit better; if you want deep customisation and the wider Zoho app family, look at Zoho CRM. Trial your shortlist with real data before deciding.
Is Bitrix24 GDPR or KVKK compliant?
Compliance depends more on your set-up than on the tool: which personal data you process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and where it is stored. In the cloud version data sits on the provider's servers; the on-premise version lets you keep it on your own infrastructure. Review international transfers and privacy notices with a lawyer.
