What is Intent data?

Intent data is behavioral signals showing that a company or person is researching a specific product or topic. First-party intent data comes from visits to your own site; third-party intent data comes from research behavior observed across providers' content networks. In B2B it is used to prioritize accounts.

First-partyYour own site, email, productA target account visiting the pricing page
Third-partyData providers' networksCompanies researching a topic heavily

What to watch

Third-party intent data is probabilistic; on its own it does not show a buying decision. It becomes meaningful when read together with first-party signals and ICP fit. Processing personal data must be assessed under KVKK (Turkey's personal data protection law) and the GDPR.

Why it matters

It helps sales and marketing teams reach accounts that are actively researching, at the right time. Related service: GTM engineering and Clay.
