Pipedrive vs HubSpot:
Which CRM for your sales team?

Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around the pipeline that simplifies a sales team's daily work. HubSpot unites marketing, sales and service on the same data. For a simple tool for sales alone, Pipedrive stands out; to run marketing and sales together, HubSpot does.

How the two products think

Pipedrive puts the sales rep's day at the centre. The main screen is a pipeline: each deal is a card, each stage a column and each card has a next activity. The design answers "who should I call today, which deal is waiting" at a glance. Pipedrive's own plan descriptions follow the same line: Lite organises sales in one simple workspace, Growth automates emails and follow-ups, and Premium covers full-cycle sales from lead to close.

HubSpot began as marketing software. Forms, email, landing pages, ads and deals sit on the same record. When a rep looks at a lead, they see which pages the person visited, which email they opened and which campaign they came from. For B2B companies where marketing and sales work towards the same target, that unity is a big advantage.

In short, Pipedrive focuses on "run sales better" and HubSpot on "run marketing and sales from the same data".

Price: cost to start and cost to grow

As of October 2026, Pipedrive costs, per seat per month on annual billing, USD 14 for Lite, USD 39 for Growth, USD 59 for Premium and USD 79 for Ultimate; on monthly billing USD 24, 49, 79 and 99. There is no free plan, but there is a 14-day trial. Lead capture (LeadBooster), email marketing (Campaigns), projects, web visitor tracking and document management (Smart Docs) are separate paid add-ons.

By HubSpot's own pricing guide, the free tools are limited to two users. Sales Hub Starter costs USD 9 per seat per month (annual) or USD 15 (monthly); Professional USD 90 (annual) or USD 100 (monthly) plus a one-time USD 1,500 onboarding fee; Enterprise USD 150 (annual) plus USD 3,500 onboarding.

Both look affordable at the start. The difference shows as needs grow. In Pipedrive, growing marketing needs mean add-ons or a separate marketing tool. In HubSpot, sales features such as email sequences and forecasting require the move to Professional, and marketing automation is a separate product (Marketing Hub). Either way, compare on the setup you will need a year from now and on total cost over at least two years. Our guide to choosing a CRM sets out the framework.

Daily use and adoption

Pipedrive's strongest point is simplicity. On day one the team sees the pipeline, drags cards and plans activities. With few required fields and automations, teams adopt it quickly, which matters for teams using a CRM for the first time.

HubSpot is also known for ease of use, but its scope is wider. Once the marketing and service products come in, settings, features and reports multiply. Planned well, that scope is a strength; left unplanned, reps get lost among screens they never use.

Whichever you choose, the setup drives adoption: define deal stages with the sales team, keep fields to what is truly needed and watch usage in the first weeks.

Connection to marketing and lead source

The most common B2B question is which channel brings revenue. Answering it means writing the lead's source correctly into the CRM and sending sales outcomes back to ad platforms.

In HubSpot, forms, email, landing pages and ad data live with the CRM, so this link is quicker to build. Pipedrive can reach the same result: web forms reach Pipedrive through the LeadBooster add-on or by connecting your site's forms through an integration, source fields are filled in, and sales data is passed to the ad platforms. In Pipedrive that means a little more integration work.

If you have no marketing team, or marketing runs in a separate tool, the difference matters less. If marketing and sales must look at the same target through the same data, HubSpot's advantage is clear.

Türkiye, language and data location

Language. Pipedrive's language selector includes Turkish and there is a Turkish help centre; Pipedrive notes that some articles are machine-translated from English. As of October 2026, Turkish is not among the interface languages on HubSpot's language page. For a sales team that is not comfortable in English, this can directly affect adoption.

Data location. Pipedrive hosts data in AWS regions: EU customers in EU data centres (Frankfurt, Dublin), non-EU European and EMEA customers in London, most others in the US. Pipedrive notes that accounts can end up in different data centres because of factors such as IP mapping, and that support can confirm the exact location. Under HubSpot's policy, new customers signing up from Europe, the Middle East and Africa are hosted in Europe by default.

KVKK. In both cases data sits outside Türkiye. Since the 2024 amendment to Article 9 of KVKK, standard contracts are one of the safeguards for cross-border transfers, and a signed standard contract must be notified to the Authority within five business days. Decide the right route with your legal counsel; in the setup we organise consent fields, access rights and retention periods.

Setup and migration

Pipedrive's core setup is usually quick: define deal stages, add fields, connect email and calendar. HubSpot's sales side moves at a similar pace; once the marketing products come in, forms, lists, email templates and consent fields widen the setup.

You can move between the two. Contacts, companies, deals and activities migrate; field mapping, redefining deal stages and rebuilding automations are the real work. Cleaning duplicates and unused fields before the move saves the most time. We walk through the steps in our CRM migration checklist.

Which one, when?

Choose Pipedrive if the CRM will mostly be used by the sales team, the team wants a simple pipeline and activity-led tool, a Turkish interface matters, and marketing runs in another tool.

Choose HubSpot if marketing and sales must share the same data, you want forms, email, landing pages and pipeline on one platform, and you plan to start with the free tools and grow.

If you are unsure, write down what marketing will do in the CRM over the next 12 months. If the list is short, Pipedrive usually does the job with fewer integrations; if it is long, HubSpot does. If you expect bigger scale and a complex process, see our HubSpot vs Salesforce comparison as well.

Frequently asked questions

We need a CRM for the sales team only: Pipedrive or HubSpot?

If you do not need marketing automation and the sales team wants to run its pipeline in a simple interface, Pipedrive gets going with less setup. If marketing, content and sales need to work from the same data, HubSpot is the better fit.

Can HubSpot's free plan replace Pipedrive?

It can be enough to start: by HubSpot's own pricing guide the free tools are limited to two users and include no automation or sequences. Pipedrive has no free plan but offers a 14-day trial. Decide on the paid plan you will actually need.

Which one can we use in Turkish?

Pipedrive's language selector includes Turkish, and it has a Turkish help centre (some articles are machine-translated). As of October 2026, HubSpot's language page does not list Turkish as an interface language.

Does Pipedrive have email sequences and lead forms?

Pipedrive's Growth plan and above focus on email and follow-up automation; lead capture (LeadBooster), email marketing (Campaigns) and web visitor tracking are separate paid add-ons. In HubSpot, email sequences come with the Professional plan.

Is moving from Pipedrive to HubSpot hard?

Contacts, companies, deals and activities can be migrated. The real work is field mapping, redefining deal stages, rebuilding automations and training the team. Cleaning the data before the move saves the most time.

Comparisons
  • Lead generation

Apollo.io vs Clay: which for B2B data and outbound?

Apollo suits sales teams that want to pull lists from a ready database, send sequences from the same tool and keep a predictable per-user cost. Clay suits teams that combine several data providers, research accounts with AI and build custom workflows into the CRM, and have the GTM engineering capacity to run them.

  • Lead generation

Apollo vs Lemlist: which one for outbound?

Apollo suits sales teams that want a large B2B database, enrichment and sequences in one tool to build their target list. Lemlist suits teams whose list is largely ready and who focus on personalised, multichannel sequences. In both, deliverability depends on your sending infrastructure.

  • Data and measurement

GA4 vs Mixpanel: marketing or product analytics?

GA4 fits marketing and acquisition analysis: traffic sources, campaign performance and the Google Ads integration. Mixpanel fits product analytics: what users do inside the product, cohorts and retention. Many SaaS companies use both side by side, with the same event names and user IDs in each tool.

  • GEO agency

GEO vs SEO vs AEO: the differences and when to use each

SEO gets a page ranking in search results; AEO structures the page so it answers a specific question directly; GEO aims to have the brand and the page chosen as a source in AI answers, off-site sources included. They are not alternatives: SEO is the foundation, and AEO and GEO build on it. Our GEO agency service runs all three.

  • Performance marketing

Google Ads vs Meta Ads: which channel, and when?

Google Ads fits when people already search for what you offer and you want to capture that demand. Meta Ads fits offers where demand does not exist yet, that can be shown visually and need to reach a broad audience. Most brands run both, and decide with qualified-lead and sales data from the CRM.

  • Performance marketing

Google Ads vs Microsoft Advertising: which one fits which business?

For almost any business selling to customers in Türkiye, Google Ads is the main search channel. Microsoft Advertising makes sense as a second channel for B2B companies that already run well-measured Google campaigns, sell into markets such as the US or UK, and want extra search volume for little extra work by importing those campaigns.

  • CRM consulting

HubSpot vs Salesforce: which CRM fits which team?

HubSpot suits small and mid-sized B2B teams that want marketing and sales on one platform, live within weeks and without a dedicated admin. Salesforce suits companies whose process needs many custom objects, complex permissions and approvals, regional teams and deep links to enterprise systems, and who can fund the people to run it.

  • CRM consulting

HubSpot vs Zoho CRM: which one for B2B?

HubSpot suits B2B teams that want marketing automation, sales and service on one platform and put ease of use first. Zoho CRM suits companies that want to keep costs under control, customise extensively or use Zoho's wide family of apps. Decide on two-year total cost.

  • Data and measurement

Looker Studio vs Power BI: which reporting tool fits which team?

Looker Studio (called Data Studio again since April 2026) suits teams whose data lives in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console and BigQuery and who want marketing reports live quickly without licence fees. Power BI suits Windows-based companies whose data sits in Excel, SQL Server or Dynamics and who need a strong data model and DAX calculations.

  • Lead generation

Make vs n8n vs Zapier: which automation tool?

Zapier suits non-technical teams that want to start fast and use the widest set of ready-made app connections. Make suits teams building visually complex, multi-step flows. n8n suits teams that want technical flexibility, code steps and the option to self-host. Plan error handling for critical flows in any of them.

  • SEO

Semrush vs Ahrefs: choosing an SEO tool

Semrush suits marketing teams that want advertising, content and local marketing tools in the same package as SEO. Ahrefs suits SEO teams focused on link analysis and organic research. Both tools work with estimated data; the real data for your own site is in Search Console.
